We stay in darkness

but with a light,

a light of screens

the gloom of society

hangs over us

We are hypnotized by technology

Mesmerized by fashion

Entralled by science

Spellbound by possesions

Our generation

has misplaced our morals

We have wandered away

from harmony

and bounded into the arms

of cacophony

Our desideratum

should be spotlighting

the contoversys

not generating them

Our hearts falter

from prejudice

that exists only in our minds

We squander our lives away

on senseless effects

We raid companies

when we depart our beliefs

of right and wrong

We lose lives

to themselves

What can be done?

Nothing on the grounds

that we are too absorbed

with our own dilemmas

to entangle ourselves

in the obstacles

of the world
