The Silent

The silent one,
always there listening,
always absorbing,
no one fears the words of one who never speaks,
but I know all,
I know all of your inner most thoughts.
You tell me willingly,
I mean who would I tell,
the silent one never speaks,
but I know all.
I know how you really feel,
I know who you really like,
your biggest fears, your darkest secrets,
your largest dreams.
But i’ll never tell,
only the silent are trusted.
I remain silent.
