Cemetery
Restless and wearisome
yet forever sleeping
the mist and fog roll though
the fields of deserted stones
concealing and protecting them
millions of rocks aligned
all similar in a way yet different
Many have names others mysteries
all concealed in concrete and steel
some corpses tossed to rot
many in silk lined coffins
claustrophobic and airless
they're prisoners of the past
under double they're height
and way past their width
a parade of many sad
tear stained and dismal faces
some time passes more join the field
few are decorated others deserted for centuries
after years...decades...centuries...
no doubt you will join them
