Thoughts of a 14 Year Old During Sunday School
The process of becoming afflicted
is a state of confusion in which she
must conquer the blunt mockery
the devil throws to agitate her soul by
trying to proclaim his significance.
Imprinting his shadow on her robe;
already tainted, decorated
with man's own undoing.
Straying from the conformists that
promise the "Land of Paradise" but
instead gives the depths of darkness
to the unsuspecting teenager.
A manuscript in which the world
has seen countless of times, the plot
now considered as lame by us, the critics.
And here she sits on the chair, obediently like
the plastic doll that was made by her god.

This piece was made on a Sunday night when I had plenty of time to just think on my bed. All of a sudden this thoughts popped up and I grabbed a pen and bled the words unto a sheet of white paper.
