Fake World
Like base metal polished with gold
Lies this world around me
Lifeless, careless, frivolous
Above all - it seems fake
It cares for size - zero figures and abs
Bodies that exist only on front pages
And with perfect angular faces
A beautiful frame and bedroom eyes
They don't look within the eyes
Looks matter too much - thoughts don't
Isn't that today's principle?
At times disillusionment washes over me
Like a wave that feeds my anger
And in anger, I wish pure sin
I wish, a wave ten times bigger
Washes the dirt out of people
I wish that everyone gets cleansed
Of this fakeness; Of this lifelessness
I wish that the shutterbugs stop
For a moment and let the flashes
Fall on the dark side
The side where people struggle for a living
Where focussing on glamour
Is, but a silly joke......

At times I'm greatly disillusioned by the ways of the world ...... everybody just seems to look at the exterior.....
