Those Who Drown Me
The water's clear and perfect
Like a world within some glass
With wonders covered in darkness
And mysteries time can't last.
All the while every pebble drops me deeper
The bits of sand add up fast
And as the sun grows ever colder
I wonder why I keep the past
So I sink down to the darkness
Drowned by those I love
Will I be a mystery in the lightless?
Or will I be remembered above?
