Lost To Suicide
Made an outcast and pushed to being homeschooled in the 6th grade
Looked down upon by many people who never even knew her name
She is the definition of a survivor…
From the verbal abuse from kids at school
To the physical abuse from her father at home
Cast out; forced to be alone…
Bruises made daily compared to the cuts made every second
She is a veteran of a war called “the bullies”
Laughed at for her hair colored pink just cause her mom had breast cancer
She decided to support it…
They never knew why she did things the way she did
She was a soldier of her own kind
Fighting for herself, her family, and her friends when others wouldn’t
Overwhelmed with the abuse of everything around her
Fifteen years of so much shame
Ended by her own hand when everything just seemed to be the same
Yet in death she found fame…
Inspiration swelled in my heart
as I remember the change she made…in me…
