A story writes itself, you just start it.

I may smile and laugh,

But it’s really not me.

I’m actually very busy,

So little time to travel,

The world.

Excuse my bluntness,

I’m so stressed out.

I have so many stories,

But no one to tell.

I don’t think they’ll enjoy it,

They’re all pretty sad.

What’s my job you ask,

Well I shall tell.

You see I don’t get paid,

It’s a huge task,

It’s not for the faint of heart,

Yet I enjoy it whenever I can.

I met some important people,

Lincoln,

Martin Luther King,

John F. Kennedy,

And even Hitler.

I see it all,

The good,

The bad,

The unknown.

That pop star who passed?

Yes I know how she died,

For I was there,

Comforting her like a father,

To a child.

Who am I?

Such an amusing question,

People try to avoid me,

Yet I’m at every corner.

I’ve even been threatened,

And cursed at,

Some even tried to punch me!

You are amusing creatures,

Beautiful,

Yet revolting,

At the same time.

You’re so complex,

And I admire that,

Yet,

I’ll always know more,

Than you.

You must excuse me,

You’re not on my list.

I must go to another country,

But I’ll come back.

One day we’ll chat,

For eternity.

With love…
