Halloween is everyday
My mask is clean
My costume smells like daisies
I leave my house in a
Crisp, freshly cleaned outfit
Of hiding
I smile and nod, no words to be heard
Unless they ask for my opinion
I usually just nod and smile then, too
Halloween is everyday
And everyday there is a hidden me
Never to be seen
