Like a sudden rush of adrenaline
You lay in bed at night
Remembering the good times
The times when you had him
The times when he loved you
The times when you were his three AM thoughts
But those times are gone now
The feelings stuck like a leach
Sucking the life and happiness out of you
The unfortunate realization
That there is no longer a we
Stuck with only the ache of memories
Your three AM thoughts
