Mimes
I open my eyes
And I’m surrounded
One million people
Pushing, pulling, prying
But they can’t seem to make invisible boxes open
Might as well join ‘um
Fitting in is key
The key to another box
Why not join ‘um
Go be trapped by another one
We can’t help each other
Let alone ourselves
We’re all just trapped in boxes
Reaching out for help
I close my eyes
And I’m alone
All those in boxes
Feel this way
We don’t know how to escape
For escaping means a bigger box
There isn’t anyone but you
And just a little more room
Once again, I open my eyes
And I’m surrounded
One million mimes
Pushing pulling, prying
But we can’t seem to make our boxes open
Come on and join us
At least we know our limits
