What’s perfect is…
the curve of your hips,
because you eat.
your squinting of your eyes,
because you laugh.
the bags under you eyes,
because you help others instead of sleep.
What’s not perfect is…
seeing your ribs,
because you try to be like her.
the scars on your thighs,
because you despise yourself.
the venom in your voice,
because you lust over something that’s not yours.
What’s perfect is you.
What’s not is the you
society forces you to be.
