My Flame
Our love was a flame
Burning oh so bright
Our love was a flame
The brightest light in sight
We started off
as high as one can be
Burning in the night
So strong
So bright
Dancing, like a girl in a brand new dress
So high we were
Taller than the I can see
Only you and me
We flickered and we burned
We flickered and we shined
One flame a dancing bug
the other close behind
We burned and burned
Until the month end
We burned and burned
Until the wick was at end
We burned so bright
We became the Light
For all to see
We didn't care
About them
For it was only you
and me
We burned and burned
Until the flames shot no more
For their light was dead
Their life was at an end...
Our love was a flame
Burning oh so bright
Our love was a flame
Until you said goodnight.

"We're born with millions
Of little lights shining in our hearts
And they die along the way
Til we're old and we're cold
And we're lying in the dark
'Cause they will all burn out one day..."
