Those Eyes
Every day I see them.
They look at me whenever possible.
They are bold, shy, and innocent.
They tell me “I care about you”
They are always there when I’m down
To bring me back up
Always there to give me hope
But
They are scared when I stare back
When I smile they smile with me
But
They try to avoid me
So that no one will notice
That they care about me
I will give them assurance
I will tell them it’s ok
I will tell them someday.

I wrote this while thinking of how many people are scared of actually saying that they are my friends
