The Rhythm of Straight Lines
Lines were made to be straight
The bent, broken, and curved lines stand out
The straight lines know themselves
And stay true to what they know
Colors are the enemy, broken lines have
No place with the straight
The straight lines are mocked for not exploring
Straight lines are surrounded by the color and the
Chaos that never quite fades
Straight lines have their own rhythm that they all know
And never forget
Some straight lines create a version of the rhythm
But still know their place in the world
They drift into color without realizing it
But lines were made to be straight

I've always been a very meticulous person, and have gotten a lot of hate for it. I'm constantly being told to be more creative or more outgoing. This poem expresses that even plain, straight lines have rhythm and art.
