Forward
These green woods stand tall and strong
And all the paths marked clear
With all my friends moving along
Trusting their trail without fear
And forming a merry band
In spite of this here I stand
Stuck upon this huge grey rock
With so many different roads at hand
My legs feel as if they're locked
As my friends drift farther from my sight
While I try to figure out which way is right
I hear my dear friends call back to me
Just to follow your guiding light
Trust us and you will see
Everything will be okay
But they have lights bright as day
And mine but twinkles like the night
So when doubt starts to cloud the way
I lose the trail and have to fight
To see if any are right for I
So my choices are either to stay and lie
In front this great safe stone
Or walk with my head held high
Undaunted into the unknown
With my back facing my home.
