Bittersweet winter howls angrily, snarls and whines with hunger and lust
Mandibles open, sharp edges of teeth pierce pale luminescent skin
Jagged cries echo over the ice land, winter growls and strikes with lust
Lust for blood, content with cold and frozen nectar dancing on its tongue
Winter hums in satisfaction, licking its lips, lapping its fingers A sweet scent carries over the wind, the hunger returns with fervor

The beast sends a frigid blast that rattles the fragile bones of his prey
Lunging forward, winter slashes the creature’s chest with icy talons
A second bone-chilling wail reverberates through the frosty tundra
Winter purrs in pleasure, fingers drifting over blue and purple skin

I was sitting at home cuddled in my blanket, trying to preserve my body heat when the idea of personifying winter and cold suddenly hit me.

I'm guessing...a silvery fox or a wolf. But either way, it's beautiful.

This poem I thought was really good. I always love a good poem with personification ^.^ I like your word choices also. Personifying nature is one other thing I like because everybody views it so differently. Well very nice job. Sorry I can't think of anymore to say but I really like this poem so good work :)
