I am barely staying on top of the waves.
Every word you yell at me makes me
sink a little more.
I started off hundreds of feet above the waves,
now they are licking
at my feet.
I am sinking fast,
and you don’t know.
But that is okay with me,
because
when I fall,
you will fall with me.
When I finally sink,
you will sink
too.
