Love you will find
November 17, 2014
If only I could be the smile on your face
Or the tears taking its place
If only I could replay the way you sing me to sleep
Oh, those words I wish I could keep
If only I could see your sweet eyes all the days
My heart is lost within a maze
I’m struggling to find clarity
Falling for you, slowly, carefully
If only you could see, my sweets
We are in for a treat
See, our future is blurred
No we cannot be assured
But if you look real deep
The truth, it will seep
Into your skin, into your mind
Love you will find
November 8th, 2014
The deep indigo sea,
Oh, darling, what have you done to me?
The waves of passion from deep below,
Heavy love through my veins flows.
I can not place, no I can't quite see,
How I am so fortunate you chose me.
Come Winter we will leap to new heights,
For those sapphire eyes it is in sight.
Come December, 365 days, a year,
I promise there will be no more tears.
No I do not have anymore to say,
But a proposition I will lay.
I will express more, yes this is my deal,
If you promise I'll have a lifetime to tell you how I feel.

Those countless days for which we kept
Asleep in each others arms till we overslept
That is when those first three words were said
Those words I wish I could keep, oh I wished, I pled
Now today we sit, side by side
Not asleep in each others arms, nor speaking words into the tide
Your laughter says is all, it tells me our relationship has grown
Outside loves boundaries and into the unknown
Now we are not just birds in a tree
Flapping our wings for others to see
There is so much more, yes that is clear
There is so much more to us, my dear
