The road was lined with snow
Christmas Eve was here
Not a sound inside the house
The kids all snuggled in
The fire was ablaze
Cookies and milk placed on the table
Waiting for St. Nick
Soon there was a sound
A crackle then a click
A laughter full of jolly filled the winter air
All the reindeer waiting on the roof
The famous bag of toys was tossed down the chimney
Jolly Ole St. Nick squeezed down after
The tree was lit and twinkling
Room for all the presents
Presents were placed with care and waited to be opened
Milk was drank and cookies taken
And soon the room was quiet like nothing ever happened
St. Nick climbed to his sleigh and chuckled with joy
“Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!”
