He told me it’s like swinging on a rope
You fly back and forth slicing though the thick abstract air
Hanging on for your dear life with your eyes sewn shut
Part of you wants everything to wilt and freeze with the cold
Cease the rhythmic pendulum motion that ticks in your core
And find that balance many have talked about
But you have not seem with your naked unexposed eyes
However, if you try to end the swaying
And stay dangled in a lone spot
It won’t last long
A minuscule force will start the repetitive motion again
And no one will help you as you swing back and forth
They don’t want to get caught in your tornado of a thousand emotions
They will stand on the sidelines as they watch you get overtaken by motion sickness
At that point your mind is a jumbled jigsaw puzzle floating in a pool of vomit
It’s so chaotic you’re overwhelmed
And you find yourself letting go
Screwing the distant thought of equilibrium and flying forward
Until gravity grabs you and tackles you to the ground
Crippling your body and putting your very mind on crutches
Either choice you make you loose
You are forced to bare the unbearable
And that can be worse than swinging your life away
