A Poem From a Nobody
She looks at you
you see beauty
she sees ugly
She hates how she looks
She despises her body
She hates when others call her beautiful
In her heart
she is alone
She doesn’t love herself
All her life she has been called
A mistake
A ugly w****
what you don’t know is that
she believes those words you tell
she hates herself to the core
she doesn’t believe anyone
when they tell her nice things
because of all the hate that she been told
Her poems cry for help
Her tear stream down her face
behind the closed door of her room
she blasts her music loud
so she can block out the hate
but it doesn’t stop her from depression
She only can focus on the negatives
not the positives
but no one knows that
her depression is huge
her anxiety increasing
and her only fear is nothing
for her fear already came true
she is forgotten
and no one knows
She could be the one sitting by you
or she could be someone you know
most likely you don't know her because she’s forgotten
I am that girl
who is forgotten
who hates herself
who is depressed
who has anxiety
who locks herself in her room and cries
No one is here to help me
That’s all I need is someone to help
For someone to truly care
That’s all I ask for
Is true friends
And someone to discuss my problems with
and they not turn away because of my past
or because of my family
or because I’m ugly
I’m the forgotten girl
I’m the lonely girl
I’m….well I’m me
