The Oblivious
Somehow the shallowest water can drown you.
Sometimes a little rain can soak you.
A dull knife can cut you.
And words may even hurt you.
Pain just might disguise you.
People can't see our hidden scars.
Invisible, they're left on our hearts.
You never know others struggles.
You never see what hurts deep down.
You can never understand ones mind.
Microscopic troubles can be colossal.
Bright can be dark.
Laughs can be break downs.
Pain can bring happiness.
And happiness can bring pain.
Don't judge ones face, hair, body, or clothes.
Don't hurt each other.
They could be hurting already.
Pain isn't always seen.
Sometimes you simply have to look harder.

People have the tendency to discriminate against people that are different, but small things can tear a person apart. I don't think people realize that.
