Anchor me down,
For I will not stay,
I have lost too many wars,
And fought more than I say.

This is not my choice,
For all young-hearted do say,
The bed I made,
Is where I must lay.

This battle,
Fought by force,
Thrown together by some unknown force.

It took my soul,
Once laid claim.
What was it's forgotten gain?

No stronger then the heart I hold,
More can be lost
That's what's not told.
The anguish grows
Not found by you
Left to fight,
Is where I must stay.

Still here,
Fighting more then I say.

This was made very quickly at the end of my Spanish class, hopefully it isn't that bad.
