"Feed the madness and it feeds on you." -Rumple, OUAT

These words inside are falling down my head.

Dropping to a silence on the ground.

I can't remember what to say instead

only it hurts when they are found.

You look at me and smile

though these words will make you frown.

The silence starts to pile

and I know I've let you down.

Unspoken words, unshead, unborn,

never to be seen.

They cut a wound much deeper

than what was said to me.

And it swallows: this silence,

every word we've shared.

Because the sea of burning emptiness

hurts more than we've prepared.
