I don’t trust love,
it makes no sense.
When push comes to shove,
I always walk away.

Why would I try
if its clearly an act?
I know when you cry,
its only for my attention.

You say I’m prettier than a flower,
you only say it because you think I wanna hear.
You say your love is of the utmost power
and you would die without me.

I feel like I’m being smothered
when you hold tight and don’t let go.
God, you’re worse than my mother,
and she never leaves me alone!
