Us (Why I'm Crying)
The End
You once adored me
I was placed upon
A shiny pedestal
I stood high above
The rest
However, you opened your eyes
And looked towards the sky
And saw me
For how I truly was;
Flawed
The Middle
I saw the signs
I turned from the warning
Head down, I treaded
I could see, but chose
To be blind
The slope, it was slippery
My life was misery
Our future was a mystery
Dying, slowly and headed
Towards the tomb
The Beginning
Quiet, you were
Loud, was I?
Opposites attract
As we did
And maybe they shouldn’t
Six in the morning
Forever in conversation
Cuffed pinkies, falling hearts
Or at least
Mine
Now
I ask you, baby
Are you mine?
Because I want to be yours
And you only call me
When you’re high
These mad sounds ring
And they say
Do I wanna know?
Knee socks by the fireside
Good luck, have fun.

I wrote this about somebody that I used to know.
To him, I'd just like to say, fuck off.
