I'm running faster than my feet can carry me

But my shoulders stay above my feet 

And my head above the ground

I'm sprinting barefoot on a ground that is on the verge of shattering

I'm running faster than I thoiught I ever could 

From something that my head won't turn to face

It has my heart racing faster than my feet

It is something terrible

And usually this place is too beautiful to be real and I'm dreaming

But now I'm in a beautiful place running from something terrible

And this time when I  fall and come to the brink of letting this

Terrible thing eat me alive

I don't wake up.
