Incredibly Confused World
The rushing wind sweeps me up into the cool night sky,
It feels that small daggers are penetrating my skin,
I float in the air like a cloud,
Moving with no place to go,
My mind is lost,
It escaped the hatred it had to endure,
My body is gone,
Gone from earths crust,
The peace is as soothing as lapping water,
The quietness leaves me resting as if I'm under a big oak tree,
I can see the people on earth,
They fight,
They yell,
They hurt,
I am freed of that nonsense,
That eruption of stupidity people like to enforce,
As if it is a law to be immature and nasty,
Slowly the chaos is pushed from my mind,
Soon I am calm,
I look down once again at us people,
Who we are,
What we've become,
The hate and discrimination must stop,
This growing idiocy that says we can't all be completely equal must be forgotten,
I can plead and beg,
I can scream and yell,
But I shan't,
Now I am back,
Back on earth,
Back in the chaos,
Back with my mind and body,
And I walk on this incredibly confused world.

I mean, really, honestly, why are we so hateful ? Why do we do such horrid things to each other ? Why can't we live in harmony ? Or at least just get along ?
