Tonight Before Tommorow
Tonight,
Before tommorow come,
Before the earth lift her gown,
Lets us dance to those musing echoes of this guitar,
Lets us dance to those dancing fingers,
To the song that constantly lingers when we tapped our feet to the ground,
In our prosaic minds,
Lets us dance to the queer rhythm of our heart,
For yesterday is no longer around,
For yesteryear shall never come,
Lets dance to the music of our heart,
For the memories of us,
Are now nothing but painted stars,
And thus they Shall never change,
Lets us shout to the sky,
and say that 'I can fly'.
Lets us scream to the erratic rhythm of our hearts,
Lets us hold each other's hand,
even though, tomorrow there shouldn't be,
for those days have passed through this cobalt colored river of cheer and tears,
lets us create joys for today,
even tough tomorrows may have no guaranteed,
we can always find another for the next days,
for there is still tomorrow for us,
for there is still a chance of enlightenment,
for you and me.
