Believe you can and you&#039;re halfway there<br /> ~Theodore Roosevelt

I stood in the hall and you were there every day
You’d wait to see me and then you’d walk away
I saw your eyes drift in my direction
I’d noticed your new predilection
I wished you had told me, so I’d have known I wasn’t crazy
I’d hoped you wouldn’t wait too long or possibly gotten lazy
You were beautiful, wonderful, quiet, and relaxed
I was crazy, joyful, mysterious and lax
Just maybe you would’ve loved me
If you had told me you’d see
That what I’m saying is true
Because then I could’ve been with you
But now you’re gone, far, far away
Where I can’t reach you or tell you to stay
Why didn’t you just say that you wanted me
If you‘d told me, I would’ve agreed
Now, I stare at your grave with tears in my eyes
You can’ be in there, it must be a disguise
I refuse to accept it; it can’t be true
I will not live in a world without you
Even if what I’m saying is completely a dream
I refuse to allow myself to believe such a thing
I might sound like a stalker to you
But what I’m saying is completely true
We used to be best friends
Never left each other in the end
I loved you more than I loved anyone
You just wouldn’t say it and now you’re in heaven
Bye my dear one
Bye my loved one
