My World
It’s a cripple,
A single choice,
A crazy choice
That can cause a ripple,
To walk the line,
(Let go of my voice?),
Or let my world fall apart little by little,
Reality –a world- so defined,
A brick wall or a bridge?
A line so aligned, like a tight rope,
If you fall it’ll be the noose around your throat,
Yet I ponder the thought, “will it be eye opening?”
The greatest illusion of all?
Will it set me free?
Or will it be my final call?
My world undefined,
A rebellious protagonist that questions society’s ways,
Where grand possibilities run wild and free,
With endless young days and childish prays,
Where love passion and adventure reside,
With fire and ice color collides,
I am free,
I am me,
I am everlasting,
I am part of a We.
But now these walls come crashing- caving in,
Unbearable.
Without the courtesy of actually bonding,
It’s a battle with no end,
Leading way to an alternate –beginning,
Where some rules can be broken,
And some fantasies can bend.
