February 15th
Valentine's Day
Oh what a day
With people ensnared
With Cupid's arrows everywhere
It is a time for loving
A time for missing
As this day draws near
Couples appear
Possibly tranced
By Cupid's arrows enhanced
Don't get me wrong
This day is not wrong
It has its pros
And its cons
With all this love
Thought to be sent from above
The day that I fear
Oh dreadfully fear
Is not the 14th
But 15th
The day after the love rush
When everything's mush
This is the day I fear
I may shed a tear
For the loss of a love
For being tossed with a shove
When such an enchantment
Becomes transparent
This is the day I fear
When Valentine's draws near.

Just had a conversation with a teacher or someone who mentioned how Valentine's Day is when the most couples appear and then after they disapear. I thought it would be fun to write a poem about it.
