Remember When?
Remember when…
Our biggest problem was a broken crayon?
The worst thing to lose was a friend?
It was okay to get it wrong?
There were no A's, B's, and C's, just checks and minuses?
We had naptime and never actually napped?
Sleep was boring?
Losing teeth meant you were getting older?
Getting older was a good thing?
Boys had cooties?
Kissing was only for mommy and daddy?
We had training wheels to lean on?
A curse word was "idiot"?
Phones only had calling?
Breaking your heart had only a literal meaning?
Antibiotics were pink and tasted like bubble gum?
Homework on the weekends was unheard of?
It didn't matter what grade you got?
The pencils were thick and had huge erasers?
People accepted your mistakes?
We had no worries.

I love to reflect on my childhood because it was just such a great time in life. I want more than anything to go back to that.
