The threshold of watered down dreams
I live on the threshold of consciousness
the space between train track and wheel
a life fit for only the dreamers
a place broken wings fly to heal.
Directions are found in the book store
but to get there wings you demand,
then fly to the second star to the right
but turn left once you see Neverland.
You soar past the crickets and elephants
and sprint to the door of your dreams
but
STOP
in your tracks at the threshold,
the threshold of watered down dreams
