Guarded
The crickets they sing, the ladybugs dance
The wind whispers long ago forgotten secrets
And the stars they shine, watching from above
The moon observes our laughter
Our fun
She protects us with her glow
The Sun heats up the day and watches as we grow
The grass tickles our feet as we run and play
The trees shield us from too much of the daylight's rays
The rain washes away our tears and caresses us
As they travel through the sky
The snow gently kisses us in the darkened night
The river amiably speaks to us, gregarious as it is
The flowers color the world with grace and beauty
And eavesdrop on our lives
They bloom at just the right moments for us
We our guarded by the forces that we see everyday
And we never even realize, they are always there
