for twenty bucks I can make you feel good
If you were a drug, there wouldn’t be a sober vein in my body. If you were a drug every one of my blood cells would know you by name. If you were a drug, I’d never leave my house. I wouldn’t get a job to support my fix. I would stop calling my mother on Sundays. I’d call on Wednesday and ask for money because the rent is due. She’d say no. she doesn’t support this. Because she doesn’t understand you like I do. If you were a drug, if you were a drug, you’d tear my body to pieces. People in public would avoid me. My friends would stop coming over, lending me money, calling to see if I’m okay. Psstth I don’t need them anyways, I... I got you. If you were a drug you would be the kind of drug that got people addicted off the first hit. Your ex girlfriend is proof of that. If you were a drug you’d leave chaos in your wake, worse than a hurricane.
