Patterns
Rain splatters against the window,
A picture of blurred lines and shifting memories.
Mere shadows, curling and dancing like a wisp of smoke,
Against my grey face,
Reflected off the storming clouds.
The storm within me is much greater then the hurricane outside.
I love you...
Then why is there clouds over my head?
Patterns,
Patterns against the glass,
Patterns against my flesh,
Burning my throat,
My eyes,
My nose,
My chest,
I love you...
He whispers in my ears
And the bells ring,
I love you...
A salty tear stains my skin,
Porcelain and glass.
Salt and Sand.
Water and Fire.
I love you...
The nightmares,
The nightmares,
Nightmares.
The
And the storm continues.
