My name is Kino
I am hard-working, brave, and a great father and husband
I like pearl diving and my family
I can dive for pearls and take care of my family
I hear my son crying
I fear that my son is going to die
I wish I could live in the stone and plaster houses with the wealthy people
I wish I could change how poor my family is
I wish I could learn how to read and write
Someday I will be rich.
