beautiful vista
What is a body but a collection of mountains and valleys,
Rolling hills to fresh flowing streams,
Hard rocks and downy clouds,
Little flowers pressing up from the taught, smooth, earth.
But you cut them down.
You drill holes through the ocean, sucking out the once gushing warmth
You carve deep roads in the twisting mounds
You pluck out lush grass and paint on sandy turf
But pray, answer this:
Was a barren landscape ever so beautiful?
