&quot; My Chemical Romance is done, but it can never die.&quot; <br /> -Gerard Arthur Way, MCR

Hand skims the road

Hair flies out behind you

Crouching on your board

You see for miles

Simple mundane figures flash past

They all

Melt into one

They don’t matter anymore

You are unstoppable

Heart drums along

To the tune in your head

And to the constant hum

Of the wheels against pavement

Right yourself

Kick off the ground

Bank left

Soar right

Flying, you are

Flying through your own sky,

The misty worn streets

Longboard, the wings

Carving and skidding along

The gray rough sky

Simple mundane figures

Don’t matter anymore

You fly faster than them

You are unstoppable

Hand skims the ground once more

As you crouch on the board

Grinning

Because flying,

You are.

hey kid!, I know I already told you this but I also wanted to post a comment. Good imagery on this one. it makes the reader feel like they're actually riding on a longboard. I don't even skate well, LOL. but yeah, good peice.

Totally love the imagery and how it all just runs together the way the "simple mundane figures" melt together. I noticed how the whole thing is just one sentence (there's only one period), and I just love that it mimics the feeling and sights the speaker is feeling/seeing. The words are just so right on and just ugh, loveee this.
