What we had
What we had.
When we met, I thought nothing of you.
As we grew older, I fell for you.
Soon, I found out you felt the same.
When we stopped talking, I felt the pain.
Why’d you leave, after just one week?
Now at night, I can’t sleep.
When I see you, my eyes fill with tears,
I feel like I haven’t cried for years.
You make me smile, I make you laugh,
Now what we had is in the past.
You want to be friends, I want more,
I can’t continue anymore.
I don’t want to leave, but I can’t bare the pain,
Even hearing your name makes me hate,
I miss your voice, and what we had,
I guess good things sometimes go bad.
