Beauty is Pain
Beauty is pain
I say as I wipe the black, pink, and red gunk on my face
Beauty is pain
I scream as the needle goes through my ear
Beauty is pain
I mouth as I squeeze myself into jeans that are four times smaller than they should be
Beauty is pain
I pant as I lay out in the burning sun
Beauty is pain
I say as I use a burning flat iron to straighten my hair
But beauty is not pain
Beauty is within
