3 Minute Ramble
I am climbing up the mountain of raindrops and dewdrops.
Oh my gosh! An orange fish and a white dove and a blind bat and the atmosphere...
There is a haze over top of the sky
and a grassy field on the bottom of the ground.
I am flying very high above it now,
looking at the small houses.
They look like rice Krispy treats
because the land has suddenly become dry and parched.
My throat hurts terribly
the water is turning blue now, and red…
I am bleeding thoughts; my mind is running a thousand different directions.
I could keep typing forever------ pink!
There are flamingos flying through my ears
and out my head into a yellow light bulb
that seeks to entrap everything that looks upon it.
I am scared of the light; completely solemn.
Grant is washing the dishes and an ocean is
exploding over the house, making a concave cave of skin and water. Skin?
There are little mermaids floating along the crashing waves.
They are dead.
They have died of exposure to the red-hot sun above.
It is sprouting like a flower and radiating heat that scorches off my skin.
Help! I am red.
The skin has peeled away to reveal ligaments,
and all those tiny muscles that help me move
from one foot to the other.
This is never going to end well.
I’m losing you because of the heat and blushing so much. Blushing?
I am blushing because he is here.
I don’t want to burn red
but I cannot stop thinking about
my thoughts that need to be stopped from thinking.
The sun must scorch them.
