Will You Notice Me?
I sit still
I stare at the clock
I wait for you to notice
Notice what lies beneath the surface
If you stare or
If you look too hard
You may start tripping
Not from your medications
But tripping from all that your
Reality is made of
Mine consists of
Counting.
Counting the tiles that are in every classroom
Counting letters that are on the board
When you talk
I sit back and I count.
My mind
And
My thoughts
Are never on the same page.
I lose myself.
I lose the grip of reality.
When you notice me,
It won't be pretty,
But it will all be true and honest. <3
