Happiness is the early morning sunrise
Waking up from a night of sleep
It’s beams lighting up the world
And letting everyone know it’s a new day
Happiness is the sound of spring
Robins whistling their sweet song
Bees humming as they move from flower to flower
And plants blooming with new life
Happiness is a new book
Crisp and white
Waiting to be opened by someone
Eager to tell its story
Happiness is life’s little things
The little moments of joy
That no one ever thinks about
And often take for granted.
