There is something magical about a CD
The way it feels in your hand
As you push it into the slot
As you tilt your head back
To listen only to the sounds coming out
Of the busted black stereo
Without knowing
You bob your head to the beat
And start to hum along with the singer
And your hands lift to play a guitar
The way that simple moment makes you feel
There is something magical about a CD
