Hues of red, orange, yellow and brown cover the land.
Dull late-October sunshine
reflects off the dew covered grass
illuminating the last few leaves clinging to the trees.
piles of dry, crumpled leaves cover the brown grass.
A soft breeze blows.
dry leaves skitter across a path
being crushed underfoot.
All along the winding gravel path people stroll:
couples holding hands,
young children play, and
old women sit on benches giggling like school girls.
