The sound diminished into a complete silence,
As if I was the only one in the room.
I couldn’t bear the news,
It hit me like a ton of bricks.
That’s when the pain started in my chest.
There lay my quivering heart,
Ripping muscle by muscle,

Deep into the veins to a complete bloody red mess.
It left me without breath,
A hole formed that no mass on earth could ever fill.
