Alone in solitary with our thoughts and ideals of being triumphant

Work hard all day until we have to escape to another room of quiet madness that makes throwing a fist through a wall that much better

It’s very difficult to not stand up and shout out

“You people are insane!” and storm out like the rolling clouds

All throughout this life

We’ve played it safe, been good so society can accept our do’s, don’ts, dedication, determination, and dreams

Wore what our leaders found appropriate

Said what our superiors find suitable

Done what our ancestors thought as tradition

We live the life they want us to live and not a second thought till we went and did the chorography of taking out the trash or deleting the dots in our box of privacy

But what does this do for us?

Leads us that much closer to throwing ourselves out the window to meet with colleagues that would slap our hands and give us a red cup

It’s about time we led our own generation

Our own lives and instead of our pants being so far up our rears like our professors want

Why don’t we let loose

It’s our time, to live the way we want

Lets blast our songs, raise our chins, but have our middle fingers raised higher

Time to let the world know “We are here to live our lives”

Time to let everyone who thought we were followers, that we are leaders

Time to let all the generations, past and future
